Overview

The Glean integration puts your company knowledge inside the trumpet content library. Reps can browse what Glean has indexed or ask Glean a question, then add the right content to a Pod without switching tools.

In trumpet

Ask Copilot about your company knowledge

Copilot can use Glean to surface internal knowledge while you build or update Pod content.

Browse contents

Search and browse the documents Glean has indexed, right from the Glean section of the content library.

Ask Glean

Ask a question and get an answer with links to its sources, without leaving trumpet.

Add files to Pods

Add documents you find in Glean to your Pods. Files from Google Drive or SharePoint can be added directly when those integrations are connected too.

What syncs

  • Search results and answers from Glean, on demand
  • Files from Glean's sources, added to Pods when you choose them
  • Nothing written back to Glean

Before you start

  • A Glean API token and a service account email, plus your Glean URL if you use a custom one.
  • A brand admin or manager to connect it. Choose a service account whose access is safe to share across your company.

Set up

  1. In trumpet, go to Settings, then Integrations, and choose Glean.
  2. Enter your Glean API token, service account email and Glean URL. Trumpet checks them before saving.
  3. Open the content library and use the Glean section.

Yes. Documents from Google Drive or SharePoint can be added to a Pod directly when those trumpet integrations are also connected. Other results can be added as links.

One Glean service account, so everyone in your trumpet brand sees the same results. Choose an account whose access is safe to share company-wide.
