Overview

The SharePoint integration lets reps find approved content in SharePoint without leaving trumpet. Browse sites and libraries live, then bring the files you need into the trumpet content library to use in Pods. The connection is read-only, so nothing in SharePoint changes.

In trumpet

Ask Copilot about your SharePoint content

Copilot can find a document in SharePoint, summarise it and turn it into a Pod widget, so you build from your approved content.

Browse SharePoint from any widget

Open the SharePoint tab in a widget's content picker to browse sites, libraries and files live, including images, videos and PDFs.

Add files to your library

Select a file and choose "Migrate to My Library" to copy it into the trumpet content library, ready to use in any Pod.

Admin control over sites

Admins can limit the connection to approved SharePoint sites.

What syncs

  • Site, library and file details, fetched live when you browse
  • File content, copied into trumpet only when you choose to migrate a file
  • Nothing written back to SharePoint

Before you start

  • A Microsoft 365 login with access to the SharePoint sites you want to use.

Set up

  1. In trumpet, go to Integrations and click Connect on SharePoint.
  2. Sign in with your Microsoft 365 account.
  3. In any widget, open the content picker and choose the SharePoint tab.
