AI in sales is moving fast. But according to Morgan J. Ingram, Founder & CEO of AMP Social, most reps aren’t leaning in. And the reason might not be what you think.

“It’s not just fear, it’s leadership. If your managers aren’t learning it, they can’t coach it.”

Morgan sees a common pattern:
Leaders don’t have time to explore AI, so they don’t guide reps on how to use it. Reps, in turn, don’t have time to explore on their own. The result is stalled adoption.

His solution:
Start small. Don’t try to become an AI expert. Just identify the most painful admin task in your day and fix that with AI.

Once you solve one real problem, you’ll find more. But without leadership involvement, adoption will stay stuck.

It’s not about hype. It’s about habits.
